For the first time, the Inns Court Summer Festival had to be postponed—not because of rain, but because it was simply too hot! Although we were disappointed not to gather as originally planned, everyone’s health and safety had to come first.

The great news is that the festival is back as the Inns Court September Festival, offering two days of entertainment, activities and opportunities to connect with our local community.

Saturday 5 September — Community Festival Day

Join us from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm at Inns Court Community & Family Centre, Marshall Walk, Bristol BS4 1TR.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy:

Bouncy castles: Let the children burn off some energy as they bounce, jump and play to their hearts’ content.
Face painting: From colourful butterflies and superheroes to tigers and imaginative designs, children can choose a fun new look for the afternoon.
Barbecue: Follow the delicious aroma and enjoy some freshly prepared festival food while catching up with friends and neighbours.
Health checks: Take a few minutes to look after yourself with blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar checks available during the day.
Live music and dance: Enjoy lively performances, great music and plenty of opportunities to join in, move to the rhythm and celebrate together.
And lots more: Look out for additional activities, community stalls and surprises throughout the afternoon.

Monday 7 September — Activities for All Ages

The celebrations continue from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Inns Court Community & Family Centre and Butterworth Court Community Room.

Monday’s programme includes:

Free afternoon tea: Take a seat, enjoy a cup of tea and treat yourself to sandwiches and cakes while spending time in good company. Afternoon tea begins at 12:00 noon and availability is limited, so arrive early.
Open mic: Have you got a song to sing, a poem to perform or a story to share? The microphone is yours! Come along and share your talent—or simply enjoy supporting local performers.
Line-dancing taster session: Put on your dancing shoes and try something new. No previous experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to have fun.
Arts and crafts: Get creative with enjoyable, hands-on activities suitable for different ages and abilities.
And more: There will be further opportunities to participate, meet people and enjoy everything our community has to offer.

Entry to the festival is free. Please note that the organisers advise that a small charge may apply to certain activities.

Inns Court Christian Fellowship is delighted to support this celebration alongside other community organisations. The festival is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new neighbours and strengthen the relationships that make Inns Court such a special community.
