Welcome to Children's Ministry

The Bible does not lie; it has been proved right over and over again. Parents, we must raise our children to respect the Lord and His Word and to respect others and to love themselves. In Africa there is a saying, “It takes a whole village to raise a child.” This means that we are all responsible for the children of the church. Teach them well; the results last a lifetime!

Our Children Ministries Activities include:

- Children's Church-led services: Engaging storytelling sessions that teach children about God's love and His Word in an age-appropriate manner. with Interactive worship with child-friendly songs that celebrate God's goodness and love.

- Scripture Memorization: Fun games and activities to help kids memorize key Bible verses and instil the importance of God's Word.

- Character Building: Lessons and activities promoting kindness, patience, and forgiveness, teaching children to respect others.

- Prayer Time: Encouraging children to talk to God, fostering a personal relationship with Him.

- Creative Arts: Arts and crafts projects that help children express their faith and creativity.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6

More than one-third of the world’s population are children.

78% of the world’s children have never heard the name of Jesus.
The probability of someone receiving Christ as their Saviour is 32% for children between the ages of 5 – 12 years but only 4% for children between the ages of 14-18 years and only 6% for people older than 19 years.
These statistics challenge us to make ministry to children a top priority within our Church locally and nation wide.

Child Safeguarding Issues

Our church observes strict rules regarding working with children. “The role of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is to reduce the risk of abuse by ensuring that those who are unsuitable are not able to work with children and vulnerable adults” – The law states that all persons working with high risk groups must be DBS checked, verified by its Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate.
